fix zcache build
patch ready for use
Why do you want this patch to be included? Where did you get it? Ad. "why" - because "zcache" in kernel-3.0 doesn't build properly and can't be used. Ad. "where" - there are URL pasted in this bug. I've done cope and paste from www browser, aplied patch, and create diff (to have clean patch). Next time please remember to post directly in bug report the build error. Thanks I sent a mail upstream to check if the patch will be included in the next 3.0.1 -stable kernel. If so, there's no need to add it explicitly. If not, we'll add it for inclusion in the next genpatches release for linux-3. @Pacho Ramos there's no build error - it just doesn't work without the patch: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-888080.html We have 3.0.2, i can't see any commit in zcache ( http://www.kernel.org/diff/diffview.cgi?file=/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/patch-3.0.2.bz2 ). Will be this patch added to gentoo patches? Patch added to genpatches for 3.0.x -stable kernels (there will be a new genpatches release probably tomorrow, when Linux-3.0.3 will get released). Thanks.
