media-sound/audacity-1.3.12 ebuild environment
Also media-sound/audacity-1.3.13 is affected, but with a different error message. Of course, omitting the ffmpeg USE flags allows the package to build. Can you attach a build log for the audacity-1.3.13 failure? Since that version's going stable I'd rather target it. Created attachment 280275 [details, diff]
ffmpeg/libav patch
This patch allows audacity to compile and work with the latest libav git as of today.
Please test it with other versions of ffmpeg/libav such as the latest ~arch libav and the latest stable ffmpeg versions.
Note that the patch is for audacity-1.3.13. Created attachment 280281 [details]

It should fix all the issues for current libav/ffmpeg versions. (In reply to comment #8) > Could you try the patch I attached? It should fix all the issues for current > libav/ffmpeg versions. Just tried: it compiles fine, I don't have time to test if it works, at the moment (i suppose it does, though). Fixed in audacity-1.3.13 in CVS. It should now work with all versions of ffmpeg/libav currently in the tree including the live ebuilds, at least for the moment. :) |
