app-text/pdftk-1.44 has the great advantage that (compared to current stable) it actually builds with gcc-4.4 and gcc-4.5. 

Two open bugs which should not block stabilization:
bug 348861, nodrm patch missing (potentially problematic feature request)
bug 364319, fails with gcc46 (see above, that is still a huge improvement)

Target: amd64 ppc x86
