Patch to make ffmpegthumbs compile with libav-0.7
This patch by Scott Kitterman, attached to the upstream bug, works for me (as in: the package compiles fine).
FYI, this bug also applies to ffmpeg 0.8 and 9999. ffmpegthumbs-4.6.5 fails with the same error. This is obviously a known bug per the ffmpeg mask message so this should be reported to upstream KDE if it hasn't been already. (In reply to comment #4) > FYI, this bug also applies to ffmpeg 0.8 and 9999. ffmpegthumbs-4.6.5 fails > with the same error. This is obviously a known bug per the ffmpeg mask message > so this should be reported to upstream KDE if it hasn't been already. It has (see comment #2). The patch is taken from there, they haven't applied it yet, though. Don't know enough about this to make sure we dont break old versions. Let's keep watching the various upstreams; maybe an #ifdef turns up in kde-4.7. Fixed in 4.6.5 (by us) and in 4.7.0 and later (by upstream) |
