Recent versions still fail if mmx, sse, or sse2 is disabled. *** Bug 405041 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Any news? Anybody knows a workaround to emerge luminance-hdr on old systems without sse? Closing as won't fix since upstream states the minimum requirement of a CPU that supports SSE2. If someone creates a decent patch, feel free to reopen this bug. This needs to be handled. I'd suggest an USE=sse2 that if not present will make the package fail in pkg_pretend() and, if present, would append -msse2 to make sure that the instructions are available to be used. Fixed in 2.3.0. |
