Created attachment 270311 [details] Patch to fix the issue The sys-apps/dbus ebuild should use: --without-systemdsystemunitdir Otherwise, when systemd is installed, configure takes it as an automagic dependency and installs unwanted systemd units (which collide with an ebuild of mine installing those units independently).
