What does 'pkg-config libnotify --cflags' print ? $ pkg-config libnotify --cflags Package dri2proto was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `dri2proto.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'dri2proto', required by 'egl', not found After emerging 'dri2proto' still no go. Then, $ pkg-config libnotify --cflags Package glproto was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glproto.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'glproto', required by 'egl', not found And after emerging also 'glproto' syslog-notify builds fine. So I guess dependencies of syslog-notify needs a little tuning ;-) . Thanks! Not really, most likely it's a dupe of bug 342393. Too much of depclean is not good for you. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 342393 *** |
