Description Slava Gorbunov 2011-04-08 07:08:36 UTC
It should depend strictly on sci-libs/fftw:3.0 slot (or equivalent requirement on version), because ImageMagick (at least latest version, 6.6.8.5) can use only fftw-3.x.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Jeremy Murphy 2011-06-01 01:51:13 UTC
Negative. I just emerged 6.6.8.5 with fftw-2.1.5-r8. Please test again and post a relevant error message and steps to reproduce the problem.

It builds successfully, but WITHOUT fftw (if you don't have fftw-3 already installed), even if you specify USE=fftw (check configure script output, it just checks for fftw-3.x, doesn't find it and disables this feature in ImageMagick).

Ahhh, OK thanks, I misunderstood and didn't pay close attention to the configure script output.

Sounds like a trivial fix then; any reason it can't be bumped in, maintainers?

Fixed in CVS.

Great. Thanks, Tim.
