Please just force -j1 in the ebuild > temporarily so this doesn't become a glibc blocker... :-( The ebuild fails in src_compile ( * ebuild.sh, line 56: Called src_compile ), so in my log you can see: make -j4 -j1 [ .. ] It is already forced with -j1. The problem related to my log is another.. The problem that you say is like this: In file included from ./touch.c:19: ./../prologue.h:27:1: warning: this is the location of the previous definition ./config.c: In function 'startup': ./config.c:3131: error: 'TEXT_TABLE_EXTENSION' undeclared (first use in this function) ./config.c:3131: warning: passing argument 3 of 'globPrepare' from incompatible pointer type ./config.c:1334: note: expected 'const char *' but argument is of type 'const char **' ./config.c:3139: error: 'ATTRIBUTES_TABLE_EXTENSION' undeclared (first use in this function) ./config.c:3139: warning: passing argument 3 of 'globPrepare' from incompatible pointer type ./config.c:1334: note: expected 'const char *' but argument is of type 'const char **' ./config.c:3147: error: 'CONTRACTION_TABLE_EXTENSION' undeclared (first use in this function) ./config.c:3147: warning: passing argument 3 of 'globPrepare' from incompatible pointer type ./config.c:1334: note: expected 'const char *' but argument is of type 'const char **' ./config.c:3035: warning: ignoring return value of 'freopen', declared with attribute warn_unused_result ./config.c:3036: warning: ignoring return value of 'freopen', declared with attribute warn_unused_result ./config.c:3041: warning: ignoring return value of 'freopen', declared with attribute warn_unused_result make[1]: *** [config.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/portage/app-accessibility/brltty-4.2/work/brltty-4.2/Programs' make: *** [all] Error 2 emake failed Cheers ;) (In reply to comment #3) > Created attachment 267821 [details] > Build log > > Fails for me And 4.1 builds? Is this a regression? Builds fine here on amd64. (In reply to comment #7) > And 4.1 builds? Is this a regression? Builds fine here on amd64. Is not a regression..fails also 4.1 Try to compile with: USE="-* java static" emerge -av brltty see also bug 361325 and bug 361327 ppc/ppc64 stable amd64 team, can this be stabilized now? The open bugs should not block stabilization. Thanks, William amd64 compiles fine, don't have a braille TTY terminal to test it. Created attachment 268057 [details]

x86 stable. (In reply to comment #13) > Created attachment 268057 [details] > Build log > mv: cannot stat `/tmp/portage/app-accessibility/brltty-4.2/image//lib64/*.a': > No such file or directory > :P Several at's have said that this compiles fine on their system, so this is probably just a qa issue that should not block stabilization. I would not be as concerned about this, but we are blocking glibc stabilization and a glibc security bug (see bug #356567). Please open a separate bug for this issue. Thanks, William done, anyway it works! amd64 done, thanks guys and deedra Stable on alpha. ia64 stable HPPA team, can you please stabilize this? It is the only thing left blocking glibc-2.12 stabilization. Thanks, William I have raised the importance on this bug because it is the only thing blocking glibc-2.12 stabilization which affects a security bug. Stable for HPPA and closing. |
