Not sure if there's any release with this commit and if the port is complete, so I'm cc'ing maintainers. Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that this commit was included in meld-1.5. From NEWS file: Port to gtk.Builder and gtk.IconTheme (Kai Willadsen) $ grep -r glade * Still shows me a lot of glade related stuff, also, other distributions like fedora or ubuntu are still depending on it *** Bug 361895 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to comment #3) > $ grep -r glade * > > Still shows me a lot of glade related stuff, also, other distributions like > fedora or ubuntu are still depending on it All I can see here is references to gnomeglade and gladesupport which are internal file names in meld, and a bunch of outdated docs. So could you please point out, where it is actually using libglade? Maybe I'm missing something but as I said in the other bug it works perfectly fine here with pygtk [-glade] Will wait for other gnome team member opinion as I am not sure about if meld doesn't really need glade or not (anyway glade will be pulled in by pygtk) (In reply to comment #6) > Will wait for other gnome team member opinion as I am not sure about if meld > doesn't really need glade or not (anyway glade will be pulled in by pygtk) Oh just seen, that you removed the glade use-flag for pygtk again :-/ Well in this case, this bug is not half as valid indeed. We could anyway drop libglade from meld RDEPEND if it's not really needed anyway :-/ + 13 Apr 2011; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> -meld-1.3.1.ebuild, + meld-1.5.1.ebuild: + Drop libglade dependency as reported in bug #358153, done in Arch and + confirmed by me. Remove old. + |
