Comment 3 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-03-06 12:44:08 UTC
I think we dropped all stable keywords for a reason, see bug 301924 and bug 303112.
Comment 4 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-03-07 09:36:22 UTC
I wasn't aware of that. The reason seems stupid though.

reopen as amd64 should revert it's stable keyword too
Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2011-05-02 16:54:14 UTC
if the only reason is that the pkg is binary-only and mirror-restricted, i agree that's a dumb reason to not go stable.

first off, binary-only is not a valid reason. never has, never will.

if the package is currently fetchable, then stabilize it. if it goes unfecthable, then stabilize a newer one. if that isnt possible, then drop it.
Comment 7 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-06-04 17:37:55 UTC
I dropped the amd64 keyword back to testing
