Hi,
There's a new version of the Scintilla Text Editor available (1.57). It has a great new feature that would be useful to many, so could you please update this? Thanks for the help ! :-)

Ebuild for SciTE 1.5.7.

Here's an ebuild for SciTE 1.5.7, based on the 1.5.6 ebuild. Had to modify the
sed script since the makefile changed slightly, and also added similar fixup to
the scintilla makefile to get the CFLAGS for that component too (earlier
versions of the ebuild only compiled the scite part with CFLAGS from
make.conf).

Works for me. Although there's an annoying bug after 1.5.4 which makes it
impossible to paste text from xterm/rxvt... :-/

hrmm, i can copy and paste from xterms fine. I don't have rxvt. did you report
this to the authors?

I've tried the e-build in comment #1 at it worked fine for me. Also I can paste
text from xterms (xfree 4.3.0-r3) or kterms (kde 3.1.4) without problems.
I think it is important that you upgrade since this version fixes some crashes
(see the ChangeLog in http://www.scintilla.org/ScintillaHistory.html)
and nothing is worst that when your editor crashes in the midle of your work!

Just inquiring as to the status of this - the test ebuild worked great for me
:)
