I don't think it's worth bumping to 1.9.0 since the new release only changes file placement and converts glark into a gem package. There don't appear to be any code changes. This package seems to work only with ruby18 [1]. dev-lang/ruby:1.8 will be masked within a week due to a security bug. Feel free to ping us in #gentoo-ruby if you need help with converting the ebuild to ruby-fakegem.eclass [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=724768 I've bumped this to 1.10.4 and re-written the ebuild to use the ruby-fakegem eclass, it's in the ruby overlay. http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/ruby-overlay.git;a=tree;f=app-text/glark This is currently pending on dev-ruby/ragol, which does not have a license: https://github.com/jpace/ragol/issues/1 (In reply to Peter Wilmott from comment #3) > I've bumped this to 1.10.4 and re-written the ebuild to use the ruby-fakegem > eclass, it's in the ruby overlay. I've added Peter's ebuilds to the main tree as discussed with Justin on IRC. |
