If so, please reopen the bug. If you had provided working patches for samba related ebuilds and the bugs are still open, feel free to ping me. Obviously, that bug can't affect monolithic samba. My point was that even after I provided patches for a certain maintainer (even talked with him on irc), nothing was done for months, till the bug became invalid due to dropping split samba build. That maintainer was the one that commit the split samba builds into the tree. I'm not sating split samba was a bad idea, but it was badly implemented. |
