I looked into this. The problem is with realpath's common.mk file. It defines LIBS like this: LIBS := when it should be: LIBS += if we want it to pick up the LIBS variable from the environment. From reading the ebuild script, that's clearly the intent. I think files/realpath-1.15-build.patch should be modified to account for this. Oh, and the OP's OS appears Mac OS (same as me), not Linux. I'd have changed the OS field, but only either the OP or someone privileged can do that. this is indeed only on non-gnu-libc platforms, thanks for your analysis thanks for your patience, fix committed to CVS now. |
