bumping to 2.4.9.1. One minor question: Perhaps we should wrap debugsupport, profilingsupport in a USE="debug" flag? They currently default to on. Feel free to open a separate bug with a patch. I think I generally like the idea. 2.5.1 is out and passes the test suite on x86, amd64. I also ran the abi conformance checker [1] which reported no problems (some time we need to collect stats on this to get a proper shared library).
