Hello, which version of grep do you use? I think this is a duplicate of bug 338853 (docbook failure due to grep regression). Michael Please update to app-text/docbook-sgml-utils-0.6.14-r1 and reopen if the problem still exists. 'emerge -uvDN world' does not update docbook-sgml-utils, 'emerge -uvD1n docbook-sgml-utils': root@orca:/root(8)# emerge -pvuDN world These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! Total: 0 packages, Size of downloads: 0 kB root@orca:/root(9)# emerge -pvuD1n docbook-sgml-utils These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild U ] app-text/docbook-sgml-utils-0.6.14-r1 [0.6.14] USE="jadetex" 0 kB Total: 1 package (1 upgrade), Size of downloads: 0 kB Is this behaviour as expected? Even 'emerge -uvDNe systems' fails again to emerge fontconfig-2.8.0-r1, because it did not upgraded docbook-sgml-utils. Hello, docbook-sgml-utils is not listed in the world file, so it only gets installed/updated if required. your current docbook installation satisfies this. (I assume you keyworded the package, according to the `emerge` -p output) So please, update docbook-sgml-utils with `emerge -av1` and rerun you system update (or just `emerge -av1 fontconfig` to test just this one). Greetings, Michael *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 338853 *** |
