I've got the same problem. checking for Python library path... find: `/usr/lib/python/config/': No such file or directory find: `/usr/lib/python/': No such file or directory /usr/lib64 checking python extra libraries... configure: error: Building python explicitly requested, but can't build python bindings Obviously a folder /usr/lib/python is expected while we have pythonX.Y $ ll /usr/lib/py pygtk/ python2.6/ python2.7/ python3.1/ Would creating a soft link to, python2.6 be a workaround or mess up everything? $ python-config Usage: /usr/bin/python-config-2.6 ... Mine. checking for swig... /usr/bin/swig checking for SWIG version... 2.0.0 configure: WARNING: SWIG version >= 1.3.17 is required. You have 2.0.0. You should look at http://www.swig.org This should probably throw an error. Fixed in my overlay for now. http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/app-pda/libopensync/files/libopensync-0.22-pythonpath.patch?rev=1.1&view=markup Fixed in 0.22-r1, needs to be stabilized. *** Bug 281619 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
