Ebuild with fixed jpeg use flag
The ebuild had a mistake in it that lead the exif flag to control inclusion of the jpeg library with eog. eog will not build without the jpeg use flag however, as the previously mentioned error occurs during configuration.

Without it it still fails. Roelof jpeg jpeg2k flags set but still not compiling until i set flag exif and then ok (In reply to comment #8) > jpeg jpeg2k flags set but still not compiling until i set flag exif and then ok Any news on this bug ?? Roelof I was able to get eog from the gnome overlay to build without an issue. Same problem with media-gfx 2.30.1. Already have jpeg jbig in my make.conf use flags. However, if I added exif to my use flags, it all worked just fine. I can confirm Alex's findings; enabling the exif USE flage for media-gfx/eog-2.30.1 resolved the issue for me as well in ~amd64. Anyway, here seems to appear an upstream problem causing configure to fail once --without-libjpeg is passed +*eog-2.30.1 (15 Jun 2010) + + 15 Jun 2010; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> +eog-2.30.1.ebuild, + +files/eog-2.30.1-libjpeg-configure.patch: + Add new version for Gnome 2.30. Also fix bug #319157 with upstream patch + (by Claudio Saavedra). Thanks to Roelof Wobben, Jacob Swanson and other + people involved in that bug report. |
