Hi,

I am one of the upstream maintainers. I wanted to help with this update. But I do not have access to a Gentoo installation. Hence I created the ebuild file for new version as per my understanding of the documentation. It will be great if someone could test it and add to repository.

I will attach the ebuild file shortly.
