The following files are owned by both gnome-themes and gtk-engines-thinice: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.2.0/engines/libthinice.so /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.2.0/engines/libthinice.la /usr/share/themes/ThinIce/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
which versions of gnome-themes and gtk-engines-thinice ?
as stated in the summary: 2.0.2 and 2.4.0
err, i should've seen that in the summary, sorry. I can confirm this behaviour, the thinice engine was added in the 24/6/2003. Solutions would either be to block gtk-engines-thinice, or prevent gnome-themes from building thinice and instead depend on the gtk-engines-thinice ebuild. I've removing gtk-engines-thinice from the package and depending on it, so we can't have conflicts anymore. Thanks Marius.
