Hmm... I wonder if this is actually what's happening to me, with bug 288494? I have mine set for 200, double the default 100. That could well be why udev doesn't seem to be starting for me... I'm just not waiting 200 seconds for it! Please disregard the previous patch. I found another change that needed
to be made.
The issue is that the wait time in the code was seconds, but the
documentation says both depending on where you looked.
This patch converts it to milliseconds everywhere.

This patch makes all of the changes in the previous two and updates the
date on the man page.
