I believe this would be best addressed at upstream bugzilla, https://bugzilla.gnome.org/ (In reply to comment #1) > I believe this would be best addressed at upstream bugzilla, > https://bugzilla.gnome.org/ > Done: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=595963 Thanks *** Bug 285969 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** See upstream comment, as richard said it seems to be a polkit problem, and this issue has nothing to do with g-p-m. We need to find a solution about polkit (missing settings ? missing rules registration ? I don't know, I need to search some stuff about polkit...) However I totally agree with Gilles comment. Yes, in retrospect this is clearly not much to do with GPM (apart from the silent failure bit). Should I open up a new bug to try and see why ConsoleKit/Polkit is refusing to suspend, or can we re-open this bug? |
