It's certainly a good idea to stabilize 1.0.7.2. The only problem is: the new qt port (which is built with USE=qt4) is not yet really stable enough. The current ebuild says IUSE="... -qt4 ...". Is this sufficient? Or should qt4 be in profiles/base/package.use.mask? (In reply to comment #1) > It's certainly a good idea to stabilize 1.0.7.2. Or should qt4 be > in profiles/base/package.use.mask? > You should make a new revision for ~arch and drop the qt4 use flag from the current ebuild. This way ~arch users still get qt4 but stable users don't have it. OK, thanks. I've done exactly this: texmacs-1.0.7.2 does not have qt4 USE flag; this ebuild should be stabilized texmacs-1.0.7.2-r1 does have it; this ebuild should remain ~arch Arch teams: please stabilize 1.0.7.2 Stable on alpha. amd64/x86 stable ppc stable sparc stable, closing |
