If a default language as selected by environmnet variables like LC_MESSAGES or
LC_ALL, wget returns the word "saved" translated to that language, so the
mirrorselect check if each test has been "saved" doesn't work.

fixed in 0.82
will find its way into portage iwthin the next hour
