Current depend is:
RDEPEND=">=net-wireless/bluez-libs-2.10"

then, it cannot use net-wireless/bluez, if you are able (I can't :-( ) to test if it works with  net-wireless/bluez, would be nice if you could set RDEPEND to:
( || ( net-wireless/bluez net-wireless/bluez-libs ) )

On the other hand, as blueproxy seems to be no updated since 2005 by upstream, maybe it is unable to work with bluez-4 and should be considered for treecleaning.
