lspci -vvv
lspci output for my graphics hardware, which might be relevant.
I also forgot to mention that this blacks the screen and grabs all input, so that one can't even switch VT's after X starts. Only kernel SysRq stuff works. Reporting that too Just run into the same problem. I am running the latest ~ mesa, intel drivers, xorg-server etc.. media-libs/mesa-7.4.2 works fine 7.4.4 is now in portage. Seems to work fine for me, please give it a shot :) Thanks (In reply to comment #6) > 7.4.4 is now in portage. Thanks for testing And closing with the proper resolution Thanks I just got a similar problem with mesa 7.4.4. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-778949-start-0-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-.html I'm re-compiling mesa now, but we might not be out of the woods on this one yet. Nope. No es fixe for me. I recompiled mesa 7.4.4. /etc/init.d xdm restart - and the system switched itself to terminal 1 where I started. Blank screen on VT7. Recompiled video and input drivers and back to the original bug. Not even with 7.4.2 can I get this to work. |
