In the tree for >30 days with no significant bugs reported. One build bug came in for which a patch was applied, but in my opinion it was a very unlikely combination of USE-flags (and the fix was a one-liner).
Please follow my lead, now marked stable on AMD64.

Apparently people prefer 1.5.1 even though this is unsupported upstream. The people have spoken, I will revert the placed stable keywords and subject everyone to a downgrade.
