emerge log
according to the log there is a problem with the de (german) docs. I have enabled de in my LINGUAS here and couldn't reproduce. So as a workaround you can emerge it without the de lingua. Also could you please add kde3 overlay and try again to compile it? i have made some changes to the kde3 eclasses for the linguas part but it is not tested as it should to hit tree. thanks (In reply to comment #2) > according to the log there is a problem with the de (german) docs. Now I'm wondering how I can make this persistent to a given package only, b/c now portage wants re-emerge a lot of packages with the new LINGUAS or - if I revert that change - it tries to build kaffeine again ... In your log i see this: * Enabling translations for: de * Enabling documentation for: de while in my build: * Enabling translations for: de I'm trying to fix it now Let's make a little testing here: cd /usr/portage/media-video/kaffeine/ (nano, vi) kaffeine-0.8.8.ebuild under LANGS"..." add LANGS_DOC="" (only two pairs of quotes, nothing in) repoman manifest emerge kaffeine and report back :) yep, adding that line to a my local overlay ebuild works fine - thx :-) thanks for feedback, in tree |
