Patch to modify the current existing ntp ebuild.
hppa needs to keyword the related package first Marked ~hppa. added to the tree then, thanks http://sources.gentoo.org/net-misc/ntp/ntp-4.2.4_p7.ebuild?r1=1.6&r2=1.7 RepoMan scours the neighborhood... RDEPEND.bad 2 net-misc/ntp/ntp-4.2.4_p6.ebuild: hppa(default/linux/hppa/2008.0) ['app-vim/ntp-syntax'] net-misc/ntp/ntp-4.2.4_p7.ebuild: hppa(default/linux/hppa/2008.0) ['app-vim/ntp-syntax'] Note: use --include-dev (-d) to check dependencies for 'dev' profiles Please fix these important QA issues first. RepoMan sez: "Make your QA payment on time and you'll never see the likes of me." dont really know what you expect base-system to do ... you're the hppa team, so stabilize the package in question or dont use USE=vim-syntax on stable hppa systems with ntp. Stable for HPPA. What you could have done is say sorry you f'd up. an apology (yes, i broke ntp for hppa and shouldnt have) wouldnt have changed anything in the tree. you, as part of the hppa team, needed to go make the change. re-opening this bug made no difference at all in that regard. Appreciated. I reopened because I wanted to track stabilisation, and I closed it again when I decided I could go stable early. ok, np ... you clearly have a system that works for you. i dont want to tell you how to manage your time ;). |
