Is this permanent and by design? thx the old version set the symlink with dosym the newer have dropped this line. hardcoding of utils is never a good idea. use PATH. if there is significant breakage, i can re-add it temporarily, but if the only packages are vmware and bash-completion, they can get fixed. I don't want to have this symlink re-added, but I think upstream still tries to install it - have a look at install-with-care. Just that their code doesn't work when not installing into / |
