Just had this happen on my laptop for app-office/karbon-1.6.3_p20090204 One thing I noticed is that /usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdeglobals got updated to read: [Directories][$i] dir_lib=/usr/kde/3.5/lib64:/usr/lib64 dir_apps=/usr/kde/3.5/share/applnk:/usr/share/applnk dir_data=/usr/kde/3.5/share/apps:/usr/share/apps dir_icon=/usr/kde/3.5/share/icons:/usr/share/icons dir_module=/usr/kde/3.5/lib64/kde3:/usr/lib64/kde3 dir_config=/usr/kde/3.5/share/config:/usr/share/config dir_kcfg=/usr/kde/3.5/share/config.kcfg:/usr/share/config.kcfg dir_exe=/usr/kde/3.5/bin:/usr/bin dir_mime=/usr/kde/3.5/share/mimelnk:/usr/share/mimelnk dir_services=/usr/kde/3.5/share/services:/usr/share/services dir_servicetypes=/usr/kde/3.5/share/servicetypes:/usr/share/servicetypes dir_templates=/usr/kde/3.5/share/templates:/usr/share/templates Could this be related? Other koffice packages, such as app-office/kword-1.6.3_p20090204, fail with the exact same error (can't find libkformula). This was happening even before I applied the kdeglobals update bentioned on comment #1. The problem can be solved by re-emerging app-office/koffice-libs (probably followed by revdep-rebuild) "emerge -1 app-office/koffice-libs" helped here. Thank you, Florian! Since the last media-gfx/imagemagick update (6.5.2.9 is current on x86) app-office/karbon and app-office/kword dependencies are broken. I tried to rebuild them using revdep-rebuild, but the compile fails - same error as described here. After re-emerging app-office/koffice-libs I was able to compile app-office/karbon whilst app-office/kword still failed; the error is similar, except it is this time unable to find libkspreadcommon. I now re-emerged all that is pulled by app-office/koffice-meta-1.6.3: app-office/kchart app-office/kexi app-office/kformula app-office/kplato app-office/kugar app-office/kivio app-office/koffice-data app-office/koshell app-office/kpresenter app-office/krita app-office/kspread app-office/kword app-office/koffice-meta Works now on x86. Maybe this is because it is years ago since I last emerged (most parts of) KOffice - I checked: July 2007... yes, a simple re-compilation of koffice-libs is enough, due to prefixing updates introduced in 3.5.10 |
