Description Christian Becke 2009-02-27 17:52:55 UTC
both sys-apps/coreutils-7.1 and sci-chemistry/ccp4-6.0.2 include the following 2 files:
/usr/bin/truncate
/usr/share/man/man1/truncate.1.bz2

truncate from ccp4 is unrelated to the one from coreutils.

Reassigning to base-system herd.
Comment 2 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-27 18:23:21 UTC
Whoops, CCing sci-chemistry herd as well...
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2009-03-11 10:47:23 UTC
ccp4 needs to change. ive added a blocker to coreutils. whenever ccp4 gets updated, feel free to update the coreutils blocker as well so only older versions are blocked.
Comment 4 Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-11 10:49:58 UTC
It is fixed in ccp4-6.1.1 which is currently in sci overlay, but will hopefully ready for tree soon.

Justin, I know you're waiting to get your dev rights… but I start to wonder if you could just send my way a whole overlay of stuff that you know is fine for main tree.

SCI stuff is *really* upsetting me right now; in this case, ccp's revdeps gets blocked either way.
Comment 6 Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-02-07 10:28:20 UTC
Fixed with sci-chemistry/ccp4-6.1.3 and other versions are blocked in coreutils
