www-apps/postfixadmin depends on mail-mta/postfix, but i want to run postfixadmin on one machine and postfix on another machine (it works here).
So I think it's not necessary to have this dependancy.

confirming.
it is working without posfix with exim and probably with any other MTA which supports auth through mysql
