Answer from the mobile herd will be really appreciated :) Add wpa_supplicant maintainer in CC. I'm fine with changing it in wpa-supplicant. Don't know about xsupplicant, shouldn't it just be changed when it gets bumped and unmasked again? I think there is no need to wait as it is blocking gsm global use flag. If you can do it for wpa_supplicant I'm ok to do it for xsupplicant (i pinged mobile herd a few times with echo). Is "eap-sim" a correct renaming for you ? Thats fine with me. I'll change wpa-supplicant later today when I get home :-) It has been changed to eap-sim in wpa_supplicant, now we only need to get xsupplicant fixed. I've just fixed it for xsupplicant.
