Description Silvio Frischknecht 2008-12-13 14:12:44 UTC
when I run: genkernel --lvm --luks ramdisk

I get the following error - I suppose there's just some directory name wrong somewhere.

cp: cannot create regular file `/var/tmp/genkernel/8962.20145.5771.4959/initramfs-aux-temp/sbin/cryptsetup': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access `/var/tmp/genkernel/8962.20145.5771.4959/initramfs-aux-temp/sbin/cryptsetup': No such file or directory

by the way man page is wrong. "genkernel initramfs" doesn't work anymore it's now "genkernel ramdisk" it seems.
and some thing else I think the module sha256 should be included into the initrd by default if --luks is set. I spent an eternety finding out that this was the one i was missing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge =genkernel-3.4.10.902
2.genkernel --luks --lvm all
3.
