While the TMDA website says that it supports Python 2.1, the tmda-ofmip
component uses features found only in 2.2, according to this quote: 
"tmda-ofmipd uses some essential features that were introduced in the 2.2
release. If your Python is older than this, please upgrade."  The ebuild should
be changed to reflect this requirement.

Okay, fixed for tmda-0.80.  Thanks for the report!
