gnustep-base/gnustep-gui-0.14.0-r1 needs media-libs/portaudio-19_pre20071207 stable, see bug #236230. just FYI, I already stabilised the following two packages on amd64/x86: gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.0.6 gnustep-base/gnustep-base-1.16.3 breakage on ppc: * Generating nfonts support files /usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/mknfonts: error while loading shared libraries: libgnustep-base.so.1.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory * * ERROR: gnustep-base/gnustep-back-art-0.14.0 failed. gnustep-base/gnustep-base-1.16.3 is installed and obviously doesn't supply libgnustep-base.so.1.14 Seeing the comments in bug #236230, stable portaudio-19 is not a good idea for now, so let's stable =gnustep-base/gnustep-gui-0.14.0 instead of -r1 (same apart from missing portaudio). Sorry for not seeing the trouble with portaudio-19 @nixnut: you need to re-emerge mknfonts, gnustep-base changes .so version at every major bump (pkg_postinst warning). I know it's a less than ideal situation for now, but portage with preserved-libs will help when it's stable amd64/x86 stable ppc stable sparc stable ppc64, instead, you can stable =gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.2.0 I'll probably clean <gnustep-make-2.0.6 after that FYI for ppc64, I'm slowly staring to keyword across the gnustep-* package universe.... Nice, are you aiming the same packages as ppc? Marking this one fixed, =gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.2.0 stable request is in bug #272673 |
