Yes, it's that time of the year again, with a new round of gnustep-base,
gnustep-apps and gnustep-libs stable requests!

ppc64, can you stable gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.0.6

amd64, ppc, sparc, x86, here are new gnustep-base packages stable candidates:
gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.0.6
gnustep-base/gnustep-base-1.16.3
gnustep-base/gnustep-gui-0.14.0-r1
gnustep-base/gnustep-back-art-0.14.0
gnustep-base/gnustep-back-cairo-0.14.0
gnustep-base/gnustep-back-xlib-0.14.0
virtual/gnustep-back-0.14.0

amd64 and x86, can you also try gnustep-base/gnustep-back-cairo-0.14.0?

And for apps/libs, for amd64, ppc, x86:
gnustep-libs/renaissance-0.9.0
gnustep-apps/gorm-1.2.4
gnustep-apps/price-0.8.2
gnustep-apps/simpleagenda-0.36
gnustep-apps/zipper-1.3

Thanks!

gnustep-base/gnustep-gui-0.14.0-r1 needs media-libs/portaudio-19_pre20071207
stable, see bug #236230.

just FYI, I already stabilised the following two packages on amd64/x86:
gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.0.6
gnustep-base/gnustep-base-1.16.3

------- Comment #2 From nixnut 2008-09-13 11:20:50 0000 -------
breakage on ppc:

 * Generating nfonts support files
/usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/mknfonts: error while loading shared libraries:
libgnustep-base.so.1.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
 *
 * ERROR: gnustep-base/gnustep-back-art-0.14.0 failed.

gnustep-base/gnustep-base-1.16.3 is installed and obviously doesn't supply
libgnustep-base.so.1.14

------- Comment #3 From Bernard Cafarelli 2008-09-15 09:27:13 0000 -------
Seeing the comments in bug #236230, stable portaudio-19 is not a good idea for
now, so let's stable =gnustep-base/gnustep-gui-0.14.0 instead of -r1 (same
apart from missing portaudio). Sorry for not seeing the trouble with
portaudio-19

@nixnut: you need to re-emerge mknfonts, gnustep-base changes .so version at
every major bump (pkg_postinst warning). I know it's a less than ideal
situation for now, but portage with preserved-libs will help when it's stable

amd64/x86 stable

------- Comment #5 From nixnut 2008-09-21 15:47:26 0000 -------
ppc stable

------- Comment #6 From Friedrich Oslage 2008-10-03 17:35:18 0000 -------
sparc stable

------- Comment #7 From Bernard Cafarelli 2009-06-09 16:29:24 0000 -------
ppc64, instead, you can stable =gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.2.0

I'll probably clean <gnustep-make-2.0.6 after that

------- Comment #8 From Tom Gall 2009-09-22 02:25:19 0000 -------
FYI for ppc64, I'm slowly staring to keyword across the gnustep-* package
universe....

------- Comment #9 From Bernard Cafarelli 2009-09-24 07:35:45 0000 -------
Nice, are you aiming the same packages as ppc?

------- Comment #10 From Bernard Cafarelli 2009-09-24 16:31:37 0000 -------
Marking this one fixed, =gnustep-base/gnustep-make-2.2.0 stable request is in
bug #272673
