Applies the new thread patch as well as the assert patch.
epatch didn't work, so I used patch -p1 instead.
This project needs to mature a bit more as it appears to be very heavy in development. marking for Later on When theres a reduced workload. please don't take the previous comment as a negative thing, the application looks promising, the ebuild does need some work though RDEPEND and DEPEND differ. (Do you really think that if you compile with gtkmm and libxmlcpp, then remove them, the app will work??) KEYWORDS: did you even test theese on both ppc and sparc? Header: Yep, you need the header. trailing whitespace. The build won't pass syntax checking. > RDEPEND and DEPEND differ. I thought DEPEND implicated RDEPEND > did you even test theese on both ppc and sparc? No, but if I didn't test them, should I assume they work? I have access to neither a sparc nor a ppc. RDEPEND only implies DEPEND if left unset. no, since ~arch means its tested on said arch and let out for testing of the ebuild in a larger audience. Created attachment 17612 [details]
latest ebuild (with both patches, header and DEPEND in RDEPEND)
one more version with :
near proper header
${DEPEND} in RDEPEND
why epatch did when it did not work ?

cleanup
nothing to do in src_compile()
move patching in src_unpack
and remove standard econf & emake (use standard src_config and src_compile)
tell me if epatch works this time (and if not, what did it do)
Hi, Passepartout-0.3 was released and the ebuild will work if you remove the patches. I've tried so far on x86, and can give information on passepartout building on pcc in a few hours. Lars Hi, the ebuild will work flawlessly, with the modifications described above, on the ppc platform. *** Bug 34082 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Now on 0.4. Looks nice. Bug 42079 "Version bump dev-cpp/libxmlpp-1.0.0" blocks passepartout-0.4. |
