x11-misc/alacarte configure fails with Python 2.6. Updating the python compatibility patch works.

JOOC, where is python 2.6 coming from?  Are we going to have the same kinds of nightmares we had with 2.5?

I think it should be less painful than 2.5. Although you can expect a good number of bugs about deprecation warnings when it hits the tree.
