Here is an ebuild for the latest stable 'nightly' from http://nightlies.fireflymediaserver.org/version.php?version=svn-1586

I wanted to have a more recent version that transcoded flac on the fly.

This is my first attempt at a ebuild, but it seems to work OK.

Reproducible: Always




Post installation:
I used the sqlite3 use flag, then had to change the /etc/mt-daapd.conf to have

db_type = sqlite3

everything this else is set up as before.

Oh, I also had to chown -R nobody:nobody /var/cache/mt-daapd

Also I had to point a browser at http://localhost:3689 and 'Start full scan'

i said it was my first attempt at an ebuild... :-)

ebuild for nightly 1696 (ffmpeg broken)

Attached ebuld for svn nightly 1696.

Note that ffmpeg is broken for this ebuild, and must not be USEd. Someone who better understands the recent changes to the ffmpeg library layout may want to fix this.
