I tried 2.8.6 by copying the ebuild from 2.8.5 on my new HP F2280 which is only
supported by this latest version.

At first it didn't work, it bailed out with a foomatic-rip or gs error in cups
error_log (with cups set to debug mode) when printing a testpage. Don't have
the log anymore so cannot lookup the exact error.

After upgrading to net-print/foomatic-filters to version 3.0.20080507
everything seems to work fine on my new HP F2280. (I had 3.0.20070501 installed
first as 2.8.5 required).
