`emerge --info` missing. See http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml how to provide some meaningful infromation. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=487890 seems to be a freetype problem. +1 I added the patch from that email and tested. Fixed in cvs *** Bug 231038 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to comment #4) > I added the patch from that email and tested. Fixed in cvs So where is the fix in Gentoo? seems that the commit hadn't landed... (In reply to comment #7) > seems that the commit hadn't landed... I think you need to make a new build that depends on a higher of something. I'm now compiling a newer version of Pango... (and the rest of my system, before I try blender again). media-gfx/blender-2.43-r3 still crashes for the same reason. Version >=2.48 doesn't crash because of the patch (I think). Could someone add the patch to the stable version? Tnx. *** Bug 249494 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
