Arches, please stabilize.
Target keywords: amd64 ppc sparc x86
Test notes: You must have a qlogic fibre-channel card to use this firmware.
Only the very new cards have any changes whatsoever, so if you have an old
card, there is no change in behavior.
Test instructions: emerge, reboot
I've tested the 24xx firmware on an amd64 box myself.
on sparc we only have qla2xxx afaik, can we stabilize it anyway even if it
doesn't include any changes to that card?
qla2xxx is the driver for _ALL_ of the qlogic FC cards.
They just load different firmware depending on what model the card is.
I think you're pretty safe to stabilize it anyway, it's been ~arch for 6 months
already.
Sorry, i meant qla2200 :P
stable on amd64, tested on gentoo infra boxes.
