thanks for catching that one. It could only happen on g-d-u first install
because it uses its own macro in configure.in. Fixed in CVS without a revbump.

Note that I am not trying to install a full GNOME suite (and the gnome USE flag
is not set), it just gets pulled in with nautilus, which I install separately:
