Does it work if you replace files/xfce4-sensors-0.10.99.3-hddtemp.patch with this patch: http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=147245&action=view (In reply to comment #1) I made an ...-r2 ebuild as a copy of the ...-r2 ebuild in my local overlay and replaced the hddtemp patch with the recommended one, with the following solution: # ebuild xfce4-sensors-0.10.99.3-r2.ebuild digest >>> Creating Manifest for /usr/local/portage/xfce4-extra/xfce4-sensors Travelmate xfce4-sensors # ebuild xfce4-sensors-0.10.99.3-r2.ebuild unpack * xfce4-sensors-plugin-0.10.99.3.tar.bz2 RMD160 SHA1 SHA256 size ;-) ... btw. I don't use hhdtemp: [ebuild R ] xfce-extra/xfce4-sensors-0.10.99.3 USE="acpi lm_sensors -debug -hddtemp" I removed the hddtemp patch entirely, but I still can't add the applet to a panel. Could it be the acpi-patch instead? (In reply to comment #5) > I removed the hddtemp patch entirely, but I still can't add the applet to a > panel. Could it be the acpi-patch instead? > Oddly I was able to reproduce it now, removing the acpi patch worked. Removed in -r2 |
