it's the first release for linux both in 32 and 64bit.

important for GPGPU on ATi hardware.

The original URL doesn't mention Linux. The current forum announcement does.

first amd-stream-sdk ebuild

Ok since nobody tried to make an ebuild, I did it by myself.

It's an initial tentative so if you think it could be made better... just do it :-)

in addition it lacks of testing about dependencies! so if you find breakages report it!

in this bug http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257626 I put the ebuild for the new AMD Stream SDK 1.3_beta, with patches for gcc 4.3.

This bug is now obsoleted. (and marked as won't fix)
