I think the developer has changed, but i don't know. The HOMEPAGE has change.
I've done the ebuild for the new BETA version which suppors SVG graphics and
works pretty good for me.

It works fine. I was using this ebuild and currently no problem

I don't know too much about ebuild but I edited the one here (only a hair) for
the newest verion I just released. I'm sure it could be fixed a bit and its
probably missing some dependicies. This iDesk is still beta, but it should not
have stablilty problems. I don't think there would be any problem if it was in
portage masked unstable.

Well....I can't see neither Tim's name nor mine in ChangeLog. Although it is a
really simple bug, people like to see their names (me too) if they have
contributed,
