Hi, this is an ebuild for the latest version of fuse Spectrum emulator (0.9.0).
Tested only on my AMD64 Gentoo system.

Changes from 0.7.0 ebuild:
- Added support for the following use flags: alsa, ao, gpm, joystick,
libsamplerate, memlimit and X.
- User interface use flags now take precedence in this order: gtk, sdl, X, svga
and fbcon.
- If no UI use flag is chosen, X flag will be assumed.
- Removed unnecessary glib dependency, would use code from libspectrum if glib
weren't installed, and libspectrum is mandatory.
- Made perl a build time only dependency.
- Added pkgconfig build time dependency.
- Removed hacking/*.txt files from the list of documentation files to install.
- Added Changelog to the documentation.
- Added the manual page to the installation.

I created a new ebuild for fuse-utils.
See bug #222735

Ebuild looks plenty good to me. Give me a few days to test this one and I'll
bump fuse.

Also, would you be interested in proxy maintaining this package through me?
Seems like you have a good handle on writing ebuilds and good knowledge of the
package.

Alright, I will maintain app-emulation/fuse package through you. Can I also
maintain app-emulation/libspectrum? I wrote the 0.4.0 ebuild (in the Portage
tree right now), and it's a main component of fuse.

Great.

So for metadata.xml, I will fill in your name and email address from bugzilla
here as a proxied maintainer. Please update me via private email if anything
changes.

@vanquirius: Did you want to have José be proxied with libspectrum too? I am
offering to manage that if you don't want to. Please let me know with a reply
to this bug. Thanks.

0.9.0 in CVS. Thanks!

I'll close this bug after we hear from vanquirius even though it is slightly
unrelated.

Jeremy,

Feel free to take it over if you want to.

Cheers

Well, I'm proxying José on the fuse stuff and he has done a good job. It is
his request to maintain libspectrum as well. I will update metadata.xml next
week when I have some free time. Thanks!

Done.

@vanquirius: Thanks again.

@José: You will be CC'd on any libspectrum bugs from now on. Thanks for the
good work so far!
