fbiterm has some problems with fonts: - it build-time depends on unifont, yet it doesn't seem to use it until it's installed; - the patch that sets the font paths for Gentoo still uses the old /usr/X11R6 prefix that we're not using anymore; - the package installing 8x16.pcf is not depended upon (it's not unifont); - the default font points to /usr/local. hmm, upstream dead. i think it should be remove from portage. jfbterm is good replacement.
